Floral design is our core service that we are known and loved for. Clocking an excess of more than 60 000 floral compositions spanning a career of our more than 25 years of experience has positioned us as a leader in the South African flower industry. We specialise in one-of-a-kind floral creations with a creative touch.

WEDDING DECORATIONS

Atomic Orchid Creative has successfully executed the design of more than 500 weddings spanning a over 25-year career in the wedding industry. We provide a full wedding design service from concept to every detail in-between. This makes us your go-to one-stop-shop when planning your wedding.

CORPORATE

Atomic Orchid Creative provide corporate clients with turn-key solutions that include weekly floral subscriptions, client gifts, custom office decor solutions, brand activations, event design and support, landscaping and garden design. We provide a custom designed personal amenity service creating a unique signature experience for your clientele and guests.

PRIVATE

Floral subscriptions available weekly, monthly or bi-monthly to enhance your personal space. Gifting concierge available. Interior and exterior decorating services available on a consultation basis.

EVENTS

Atomic Orchid Creative is a renowned event specialist. Our 20 years of experience gained by successfully executing more than 600 corporate and private events enables us to meet all of your event requirements.

LANDSCAPING AND GARDEN dressing

Our love of nature underscores our design philosophy. Landscaping and garden dressing services range from balcony gardens right through to the entire outdoor footprint of your residential or corporate property.

STYLIST

Atomic Orchid Creative comprises a team of exceptional stylists. We have worked on various editorial campaigns assisting photographers with creative and art direction.

CURATED GIFTING

Our gift concierge is at your service. Known and loved for our attention to detail in everything we do. This service extends to our personalised custom curated gifting solutions ranging from hampers, gift boxes and personal shopper services.

WORKSHOPS

Atomic Orchid Creative offer in person as well as virtual workshops. Seasonal or theme based floral design workshops presented at our studio in Kensington or venue of your choice.

COLIN SHANDOSS

I am a self-taught artist who started my creative journey in the world of floral design over 25 years ago. My friendship with legendary Mr. Paddy Gibb was my first introduction to the colorful world of floral and event design. I am fortunate to have received Master Florist training and education from Mr. Gibb.

Starting out as an entrepreneur and creating a family business with my mom equipped me with the necessary skills to build a successful floral and design business spanning more than two decades.

As a creative, I am driven by my love of nature and an insatiable curiosity about the ability of beauty to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Influenced by nature fashion and all design disciplines my greatest gift is the ability to transform creative concepts into a magical reality.
